Made together with Evelyn Lambart, McLaren creates this abstract film around a boogie-woogie by Oscar Petersen. Painting on unexposed celluloid or scratching exposed film, the animator creates ever-changing backgrounds, providing liveliness, and the constant change gives the piece an ecstatic rhythm. A film bordering on abstract expressionism.
