The landscape of Là-haut sur montagnes is born, according to McLaren's own words, from the director’s memories of the Scottish mountains. Animation based on a succession of modifications on the same black and white drawing made with pastel. White pastel is used to create reflections, light effects and all kinds of animations. Part of a series of projects dedicated to Quebec folk music.
