Kristall

As if it were a spectator, a mirror (the true protagonist of this piece) observes very intimate scenes. It creates an image within an image and it frames the characters, while presenting them as disconnected and fragmented. This object, commonly used to inspire confidence in oneself and as an accomplice to our narcissism, here becomes a tool for the opposite, creating insecurity and increasing the sensation of fragility, doubt and double loss.

A melodrama built on found footage from classic Hollywood movies. Faces and rooms reflected in mirrors build almost claustrophobic situations with the help of a disturbing audio that includes the distorted sounds of broken glass.
