Mirror is a film that on a large screen and its original format – double screen and cinemascope – is spectacular. It is a film inspired by the work of Michelangelo and creates a captivating atmospheric image of the 'entre'; that place without a name between belonging to something and isolation. A woman, a man and some guests are at a party while a love story evaporates. Objects and people make up a kind of tableaux vivant animated only by light. Light creates connections, but also isolates the figures from the space that surrounds them. As in the vertex of a mirror, an image is separated into two halves. The mirrors work here as a resource to visualise the experience of dislocation of the protagonists.
