This film tells the unsuccessful attempts of a cameraman, who appears as a shadow in some frames, either to penetrate the landscapes before him or to join in the children's games. The disjunctive editing and the frequent repetitions are completed with light poetry sections of great beauty. This film establishes the principle of organising images through rhythm instead of through narrative or humour.
