Intimate portrait of Warhol at the Factory, where he and his assistant, Gerard Malanga, produce, wrap and screen print some of his works like the Brillo detergent box, the portrait of Jackie Kennedy and the Flower Silk-Screens. It also transports us to the original Brillo factory, to the opening of a Warhol exhibition and to the intimacy of the artist, reading the newspaper between his paintings and his cat. The use of rapid camera and repetition emphasises the serial nature of the process, while Menken's interest in capturing light and its effects begins to form a formal scheme for filming actions and objects.
