Street of Crocodiles

Made in 35mm, Street of Crocodiles, a liberal adaptation of a short story by Bruno Schulz, is the most celebrated work of the Quays.
A puppet is released by a man when cutting a rope. The presence of dust, screws, and in general, a sober environment gives us the feeling of isolation. In films like Street of Crocodiles the powerful influence of the rich Central European cultural scene on the Quay Brothers is revealed, particularly the work of Polish and Czech authors.
