The Quay Brothers enter the territory of science fiction with this adaptation of a story by Stanislaw Lem. Maska takes place in a futuristic world highly developed technologically but governed by feudalism. The robot Beautiful Duenna was created in order to fulfil a certain mission, but is forced to choose between duty and love.
