Stille Nacht 1: Dramolet

The first film in the series Stille Nacht is a beautiful dream in black and white recreated from the animation of iron filings that evoke a snowscape that a puppet contemplates from its apartment. A tribute to the writer Robert Walser who died on Christmas night in 1956 and whose novel Jakob von Gunten (1909) inspired the feature film Institute Benjamenta or this Dream People Call Human Life.
