Filmed in the Alhambra of Granada in a single day, Arabesque for Kenneth Anger focuses on the details of Muslim architecture and ancient Spanish ceramics. The dynamism of the camera allows the author to update the fixed movement of the arabesques. In 1961, a few years after filming, the soundtrack by Teiji Ito was added.
