Painters Painting

Painters Painting is a great documentary collage about the vivacity of avant-garde artistic movements in New York: from abstract expressionism to Pop Art, throughout interviews in studios, paintings and other footage of the creative process of Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Barnett Newman or Robert Motherwell, many of them friends of Emile de Antonio. As a prelude, a short film by Pere Portabella about Miró's intervention in the design of the windows in the Architects Association of Barcelona and their subsequent "destruction".
