Andrés Duque presents “We the Living”

Premiere in Barcelona of the first full-length feature by Venezuela-born Spanish filmmaker, Andrés Duque. Premiered at the Rotterdam Festival (2011) and winner of the Public’s Prize at the recent Documentary Film Festival of Navarre, Color perro que huye (Colour Runaway Dog) is a film that presents viewers with a free, fragmented narrative with touches of humour that draws on the Internet and the use we make of it. Comprising apparently disconnected chapters with no particular hierarchy, Duque presents us with an unusual cinematographic experience suggestive of a state of mind represented by the phrase he uses as his title. After the screening, the filmmaker has prepared a YouTube-style session to complement and close this season.
