Marcos Medeiros is a Brazilian filmmaker. After being arrested, tortured, prosecuted and exiled from Brazil, Medeiros began to dedicate himself to cinema, collaborating with Chris Marker in France, Glauber Rocha in Cuba and Roberto Rossellini in Italy. During the 1980s he received amnesty and returned to Brazil, where he began experimenting with video. However, he never found the right place to exhibit his works.
