Katixa Agirre

Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1981. Basque writer and professor of Audiovisual Communication at the University of the Basque Country. He has published two books of short stories: Sua Missing Zaigu (Elkar, 2007) and Habitat (Elkar, 2009), and some stories for children and young people. In 2015, she published her first novel Atertu arte Itxaron (Los turistas desganados), translated into several European languages and in 2018 she published Amek ez dute (Las madres no), published in 10 languages and with cinematographic adaptation by Mar Coll. In 2022 his latest novel Berriz zentauro (De nuevo centauro) was released, a speculative fiction set in futuristic Paris. In addition, commissioned by the Donostia Film Festival, he published in 2022 Zinema festa bat da, fiction-homage at the festival with Agnès Varda as the protagonist.
