Through the technique of picto-cinematography – placing the image in its original measurements on sensitive film in 35mm occupying all its surface – Antoni Pinent presents a new vision of the Gioconda playing with the idea of decomposition and enlargement of the canvas. Thus, he manages to exhibit the texture and chromatic beauty of the original canvas without the need to show its totality, only showing small parts.
