Result of the fourteenth edition of the Aula Xcèntric, F(r)iccions etnogràfiques reviews the concept of experimental ethnographic cinema while analyzing the work of filmmakers who bet on imagination and criticism and who question the conventions of the documentary tradition; filmmakers who defend a less objectivist anthropological cinema, which dares to experiment formally and methodologically with the camera to generate new ways of relating to others and show the different ways of living and conceiving the world.
