In Curitiba (Brazil), at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná (UTFPR), Ana Claudia França is lecturer in the Academic Department of Industrial Design (DADIN), specialising in visual narrative, and also a pre-doctoral researcher on the Graduate Programme in Technology and Society (PPGTE). For her PhD, she is researching the presence and participation of women in the Brazilian film circuit, starting in the 1970s, and the connections between history, memory and images. She’s currently a Visiting Researcher at the University of Barcelona (UB), with the support of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) of the Brazilian Ministry of Education.
