CacaBoum! Punk in France…

This microcycle follows the steps of the spirit of punk in experimental film “merde in France”. Designed in collaboration with Yves-Marie Mahé, a filmmaker and founder of Paris’s Collectif Négatif, this first session looks at the contemporary scene. Influenced by 19th-century anarchist theoreticians, Lettrism, Situationism, May ‘68 and Hara-Kiri magazine, the artists in the programme dance the dance of agitprop on the corpse of mass culture. A session that is as fast and rough and ready as punk played at top speed. Attended by Yves-Marie Mahé.
